For the past few years we have started the season with Peggy Ann and Frank and we end the season with them in September.  The day you walk through the door you become part of the family and always feel welcome.  It has been a real joy meeting their children and grandchildren.  We feel blessed to be one of the 'regulars.'

May you be blessed with many more years of good health and great summers.

Voltaco's to place our order five minutes before closing: an hour wait at the bar before dinner at the Crab Trap; moving cars; enjoying walks on the beach and boardwalk; John sitting in his beach-chair with his head phones; Room F; Peg and Frank greeting us every Friday.  These are some of our fondest memories of our beloved Ocean City.

The 'girls' from the 1962 class of Lansdowne-Aldan High School had a grand reunion here.  Headed by Sandy McGrath of Virginia and Ginnie Russell of Texas, a rip rollicking time was had by all.  There were laughs, songs, prayers, maybe a few tears, jitterbugging and all the memory scratching that could be done by nine dynamic women. The last time we were all together was over forty years ago.  Let's hope it won't be another forty years before the 'girls' get together again for some more fun and games.

We 'rediscovered' Ocean City, NJ in August of 1997 after a 25 year absence!  How fun to see our old haunt again-this time with grown-up eyes!!!  It was like running into an old friend on the street....instant recognition, a flood of good memories, immediate feelings of at-home comfort.

On our way out of town that August Sunday morning we chose to drive once more through the charming residential blocks, this time with paper and pencil ready to jot down names of Guest Homes that looked warm and inviting.  We determined that on our next return (and we promised ourselves that it wouldn't be 25 years) we would try that venue of accommodation.

In the Spring of 1999, we dug out our scribbled list-thank heavens we had saved it-and began calling to arrange for a week long summer stay.  Our search ended when we spoke to Peggy Ann.

The rest is history.  We've returned each season, sometimes for multiple visits.  The Osborne's Inn is our home away from home, and we eagerly anticipate each return.  We have some choice snapshots displayed at home and at work so that on the dreariest of cold winter days we can conjure up the feeling of sunlight on our skin, drink in the ocean air, and savor the seagulls soaring as the waves break upon the sand...see you next year.

Some of my memories of Ocean City:  the most vivid images come to mind quickly.... the wonderful beaches, the rides and the excitement.  Then, my thoughts go to the peaceful, relaxing and happy moments I have spent with my husband while staying at the Osborne's.

What I enjoy most is the way you make us feel like part of the family and keep us up to date on all the delightful activities of the Osborne Family, the weddings, the new additions and your amusing words of wisdom.

We look forward to seeing you on our next visit.

Ocean City brings fond memories of Wakelee family fun! On arrival, the hermit crabs and their cages were top priority.  The children ran to the boardwalk in search of them.  Oh, what joy they experienced in comparing them and taking care of them.  A special part of Ocean City.

Sarah had finally convinced her parents to buy her a 'boogie board' on the boardwalk. She was very excited and could hardly wait to get in the ocean with it.  With great anticipation, off to the beach she went, only to be turned away by the lifeguard - surf is too rough, come back tomorrow.

When we arrived at Osborne's Inn, the children were very excited when the little ones discovered the bunk bed and ladder in our apartment.  Up and down the ladder they went, finally one fell down and was hurt.  Drew removed the ladder and put it in the closet.  About 2:00 AM, Emily, the five year old, started screaming, 'Daddy get me down, I have to go potty!'

One evening the family was having an exciting time at Playland when all of a sudden, without warning, thunder and lightening and torrential rain started.  They enjoyed the fun and laughter of getting soaked and running down the boardwalk to the comfort and warmth of our 'home away from home!'

My family has visited OCNJ every summer for as long as I can remember.  My grandparents, my Uncle Jack, my Aunt Eleanor, my parents, cousins, siblings, and friends made lasting memories staying at Osborne's.  We stopped coming to OCNJ a few years ago because of school, work, summer camps, and the like, but we'll always remember our time.   Now that I have grown into adulthood I always make it a priority to stay for at least a day and enjoy all that the shore has to offer.  My boyfriend and I stayed for a wedding last September, and I chose Osborne's because of all the wonderful feelings that it envoked.  Sure it was a hike from the Inn to the wedding, but we wanted to stay!  Why?  Because in all my years of visiting, I have never once had a bad experience.  NEVER.  Everyone is so friendly and caring.  It shows!  The secret to a great legacy is passion and I'll always have Osborne's on my mind whenever anyone mentions OCNJ.  Here's to continued success for the future!

We have been going to the Osborne's Fairview Inn since 1998.  Peggy Ann and Frank are such wonderful and caring hosts. We both love Ocean City and the Osbornes.  We enjoy the beach, the boardwalk, the Porch, the Pops, the Tabernacle, etc.  I guess I should say 'We enjoy just about everything that has to do with Ocean City.'

There are no words to describe what our vacations at Peggy Ann's and Frank's mean to us.  We feel this is our second home.  When our everyday life gets crazy we think of our vacation to come at Ocean City.  The entire family always makes us feel so welcome.  Our favorite spots include, The Hula Grill, the water park, the amusement parks, the beach and 'Breezin ' Up'.  Thank you for all the 'extras' you always provide - always a kind word or words of wisdom on life.  The Osborne's are by far one of the best treasures in Ocean City!

Memories - one of the joys of Life -  I hold on to them like precious gems.  Truly one that shines so brightly in my life are the fond memories of my extended Family - The Osbornes!!!  They came into my heart way back in 1979.  It was a beautiful summer day - where should we stay??  We were on 15th Street - tired - sandy - my attention was drawn to a group of busy little kids - Peg sitting on the steps - calmly extending to us a warm 'Hello' - a Vacancy Sign - no harm in asking - little did I realize this would begin our 'memories'.  The haven we would choose year after year -  a place that would grow to feel like 'coming home'.  Do you remember that very first weekend - I think it was Colleen -  you knocked on the door -  she had a splinter in her foot - would I mind trying to remove it - she wouldn't let you remove it.  How brave she was and we were successful!!  That was when we got to know each other, in spite of all the screaming kids - one sweeter than the other.  How inpressed I was at this 'BRAVE LADY'. - I knew I had to come back.

Through the years that followed I came back with my girls - family - parents - friends and thinking back I have stayed in every room and apartment except T.

I have watched these humble surroundings grow into the most beautiful Inn in Ocean City.  I have had the joy to watch the 'kids' grow, laugh, play, get married - EXCEL.  I have experienced hospitalilty from Peggy Ann and Frank - hugs - sincere caring - nothing is ever too much trouble.  How impressed I am with their parking maneuvers.  You name it - they do it.

I have so many many wonderful memories.  This is my 'home away from home' - where I come to relax and share.

God Bless each and every one of you and Amstel too!!!

My family first came to Ocean City on vacation from Albany, New York when I was 15 years old.  I discovered the Osborne Inn as an adult and have literally 'raised' my children here.  My husband, son, daughter and I drive from our home in Maryland every summer for our week's stay with Peggy Ann and her Family.  Our kids wouldn't 'allow' us to go anywhere else!  We meet my parents and siblings here also!

We love the beach, boardwalk, sticky buns from Mallon's, bike rides, Kohr's ice cream, trading books at the Discount paperback shop etc. etc. etc....!!!
